School Grade

July 2026 — Northwest Elementary has once again been recognized as an "A" school by the Florida Department of Education, marking the school's second consecutive year earning the state's highest school grade.

This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the entire Northwest community. From students who strive for excellence each day, to teachers and staff who provide exceptional learning experiences, to families who support learning at home, every member of the Northwest family has contributed to this success.

"Earning an 'A' school grade for the second year in a row is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to what can be achieved when an entire school community works together," said Principal Casey Maker. "We are incredibly proud of our students, grateful for our outstanding teachers and staff, and thankful for the unwavering support of our families. This recognition belongs to all of us."

As Northwest celebrates this milestone, the school remains committed to building on its success by providing high-quality instruction, fostering meaningful relationships, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to shine.
